The aim of our nursery is to offer the highest quality childcare, where parents can feel confident leaving their children safe in the knowledge that they will be cared for by an experienced and well qualified team.

The numbers in our two nursery classes, known as Daisies and Buttercups, are kept intentionally small. We provide an ideal environment for your child to grow and develop in an atmosphere of warmth, security and care. In this nurturing environment your child will flourish and will be encouraged to learn and develop, at his or her own pace, through a range of play based activities with specialist teaching in Music, French, Swimming, P.E. and Speech and Drama.

The setting is small and cosy, with well equipped play areas and gardens, giving the children the opportunity to continue the learning process outdoors, in a safe secure environment. In addition we have created a wonderful Secret Garden, equipped with dragon chimes, drums, willow wigwams and seating areas.

Above all, the aim is for the children to have fun, whilst learning, therefore making the transition from home to school a happy experience. Working in partnership with parents our committed and supportive teaching team will ensure your child is an eager, enthusiastic and responsive learner who skips into his or her classroom with a smile.

Combe Bank has its whole school Open Day on Saturday 1st October from 10.00 – 12.30pm, the whole family are welcome. You will have the opportunity to tour the school, including the Nursery, Prep, Senior school and sixth form, to meet the Headmistress, the staff and the girls and join us for a famous Combe Bank lunch.
