With an old Casio keyboard being the catalyst for her career in music as an oboist, pianist and teacher, Ali has more reasons than most to want to encourage children to learn not only the electronic keyboard but how to read and write music.
'I feel music has a great part to play in a child's social, emotional and physical development. The list of benefits is endless, but they include improved co-ordination, concentration and confidence. Children seem to really enjoy our group based classes and achieve more than they ever thought possible!'
So what is on offer this year? Well, the popular beginners Easter Course (6-10th April, Sevenoaks/East Dulwich, 10am-12.30pm daily, £120) offers a great way for children between 5 and 8 years to start learning the basics of the keyboard in just five days, culminating in a last day concert. A relaxed, fun approach ensures maximum enjoyment with games, art and of course, plenty of music making!
If you prefer term classes, then starting very soon are our new beginners sessions in Dulwich, East Dulwich, Blackheath, Beckenham or Sevenoaks. You can reserve a half price trial lesson for just £6 and try out our classes before commiting to a term, so why don't you give us a call and get your child on the road to musical success? You never know where it may lead!
